Up to four names and your gotra go into the sankalp, and photos or video of the vratam follow on WhatsApp.

What is Satyanarayana Vratam?

Satyanarayana is Vishnu worshipped as the lord of truth, and a vratam is a vow kept through worship. The rite opens with prayers to Ganesha and to the Navagraha, the nine planetary deities. The main puja to Satyanarayana and the reading of his katha, the story of the vow in five chapters, complete the rite. Full-moon days and happy family events are its traditional occasions. In this booking, every step is carried out for you by a South Indian pandit matched to your family's custom.

Why devotees book it

To give thanks to Satyanarayana when a long-held wish comes true

Blessing a newly married couple, a newly built home or a fresh job

A prayer that the household stays peaceful and prosperous

Honouring Vishnu as the lord of truth, on a full moon or an Ekadasi

Marking a wedding anniversary with a vow of thanks to Vishnu

When to book

Purnima (the full moon), Ekadasi and the month of Karthika all suit the Satyanarayana Vratam.
