Arudra Darshan Pujas

Arudra Darshan 2026 falls on Thursday 24 December, on the Thiruvathirai (Ardra) star in the Tamil month of Margazhi. It celebrates Nataraja, Shiva as the cosmic dancer, and is kept on the grandest scale at the Thillai Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram, the Pancha Bhoota temple of space. Shiva temples across Tamil Nadu offer special worship to Nataraja on the day.

Book an archana or abhishekam in your name at Chidambaram, and at Shiva temples such as Tiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvanaikaval, Rameswaram and Mylapore in Chennai.

Each puja page shows what is included, who performs it and when your video or proof reaches you. Your name and gotra are taken in the sankalp.
