About Spiritual Kada
A kada creates a different look from a strand of loose beads. This edit includes Murugan Vel and Shiva Trishul-Damru designs, Karungali pieces and bracelet combinations with Rudraksha or chakra details.
Check the opening, diameter or fit guidance for the design you choose. A rigid kada and a link bracelet do not fit in the same way. Where a product includes a matching bracelet, confirm both pieces and their individual sizes.

How to choose a spiritual kada
Start with the symbol, then check the fit. A rigid kada and a link bracelet do not fit in the same way.
Look for the opening, diameter or fit guidance on the product page of the design you choose. Where a product includes a matching bracelet or mala, confirm both pieces and their individual sizes.
If you are choosing for someone else, compare the stated measurements with a kada or bracelet they already wear.
Meaning of the Vel, Trishul, Damru and Om
In Hindu tradition, the Vel is the spear of Lord Murugan. The Trishul (trident) and the Damru (small drum) are associated with Lord Shiva.
Om is the sacred syllable chanted at the start of many prayers. Rudraksha is associated with Lord Shiva, and Karungali is the Tamil name for ebony wood.
These meanings come from tradition and personal faith. They are not promises of any result.
Wearing and caring for a kada
Many devotees wear a kada every day, and some take it off before a bath, heavy work or sleep. Do what feels comfortable and respectful to you.
Wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth. Keep gold-plated finishes away from perfume and cleaning products, and store each piece on its own so the surfaces do not scratch. Follow any care note on the product page.
More wristwear and mala collections
A kada is only one way to wear a devotional symbol. A mala or a ring can suit a different day or outfit.
For a more compact choice, see the kada collection with cuffs and Om designs. For bead styles, explore Rudraksha bracelets, spiritual bracelets or Karungali. Gift buyers may also like the spiritual combos.
Many people keep one piece for daily wear and another for festivals or puja days.
