About Durga Saptashloki Path and Angarak Dosh Puja

Durga Saptashloki is a short hymn of seven verses from the Durga Saptashati, also called the Devi Mahatmya. Path means recital. Many devotees read or hear it as a brief form of Durga worship.

Angarak is a name of Mars in Vedic astrology. Dosh is the astrological term for a planetary placement that is considered unfavourable. Devotees book such a puja as an act of devotion.

If you are unsure whether a puja suits you, speak with a family elder or an astrologer you know. Each puja page states what its booking covers.
