What is Laghu Rudrabhishek?
Abhishek is the ritual bathing of the deity. In Rudrabhishek, the Shiva Linga is bathed while the Rudram, a Vedic hymn to Rudra, is recited.
Laghu means small or light. In tradition, a Laghu Rudra is a smaller form of the larger Rudra recitals, such as Maha Rudra.
Devotees see it as an act of devotion to Lord Shiva and perform it with faith. No particular result is promised.
The mantras are recited by the priests performing the puja. Each puja page states what its booking covers.
