Delete your Divine Hindu account

You can request deletion of your Divine Hindu app account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

How to request deletion

Send an email to care.divinehindu@gmail.com from your registered email address, with the subject line “Delete my account”. Please include the mobile number you use to sign in to the app so we can locate your account. If you no longer have access to your registered email, mention your registered mobile number and we will verify your identity by OTP before processing the request.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile details (name, phone number, email)
• Your saved birth details and kundli history
• Your astrologer chat history
• Your pooja bookings and report order records (personal details)

What we retain, and for how long

• Order and payment records required for tax, accounting and legal compliance are retained for the period mandated by applicable law (up to 8 years under Indian accounting rules), after which they are deleted.
• Anonymised analytics data that no longer identifies you may be retained.

Processing time

We verify and complete deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
