What is Maa Baglamukhi Pooja?

Maa Baglamukhi is one of the ten Mahavidyas, the great wisdom forms of the Devi. She is also called Pitambara, the goddess dressed in yellow, so yellow runs through her worship. Tradition offers her turmeric, yellow flowers and similar yellow items. In this pooja (puja), the pandits chant the Baglamukhi mantra and offer yellow vastra, or cloth, with other yellow offerings. It begins with a sankalp in the name and gotra you give.
