What This Remedy Does
Sahasranamarchana at Ahobilam is an archana of the thousand names of Narasimha, with a flower or kumkum offered at each name. At Ahobilam the temple's priests offer the archana in your name, and up to four people with your gotra are named in the sankalp. You receive the temple receipt or a WhatsApp confirmation once the thousand names are offered.
What is Sahasranamarchana?
Sahasranamarchana is an archana with the sahasranama, the thousand names of the deity, each offered with flowers or kumkum. It is longer than the usual archana of 108 names and is offered in the devotee's name and gotra. At Ahobilam the thousand names are offered to Narasimha, the form of Vishnu worshipped here at nine shrines. Tradition holds that Narasimha appeared here to protect the child-devotee Prahlada. In the sankalp, the priest recites your name and gotra so that the archana is made for you.

About Ahobilam
Ahobilam lies in the Nallamala hills of Andhra Pradesh. It has nine shrines of Narasimha, together known as the Nava Narasimha. By tradition, this is where Narasimha appeared to protect the child-devotee Prahlada.
