Chaitra and Sharad Navratri

Two Navratris are widely kept. Chaitra Navratri falls in the month of Chaitra, around March or April. Sharad Navratri falls in Ashwin, around September or October.

The dates follow the Hindu lunar calendar and change every year, so please check a panchang. Durga Ashtami and Navami are traditional days for a Chandi path.

For Devi pujas through the year, see Devi pujas and Durga Saptashati Path.
