What This Remedy Does
Pind daan — an offering of rice pindas for your ancestors — performed at Gangotri by a local priest, with up to four names and your gotra in the sankalp. Gangotri Dham in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, is one of the Char Dham. The temple of Maa Ganga stands high in the Himalayas on the banks of the Bhagirathi, as the Ganga is called here.

- This puja is performed by a local priest on the Bhagirathi ghat or at a ritual venue near the temple, not inside the temple. The exact place and the puja materials are confirmed with you on WhatsApp.
- Gangotri Dham is open only for part of the year, from the Kapat opening in spring to the closing before winter. Your booking is scheduled on a date when the shrine is open, or after it reopens if it has closed.
