Meaning and tradition
This Shiva necklace, also called a Mahadev necklace, carries the Adi Yogi pendant. Adi Yogi means the first yogi and is a name of Lord Shiva. Om Namah Shivaya is his five-syllable mantra.
In Hindu tradition, Rudraksha is associated with Lord Shiva, and a 5 Mukhi bead has five natural lines, or faces. Devotees wear it during japa and prayer. These are traditional associations, not promised results.
