This Karungali mala with silver cap joins Rudraksha, Karungali (black ebony) wood and a Lord Murugan Shastra pendant. The pendant is shaped like his Vel (spear) with a figure of Murugan inside, and silver-plated caps frame the beads.

Meaning and tradition
The Vel is the spear of Lord Murugan and symbolizes the piercing of ignorance and decisive victory over obstacles. The Shastra pendant carries this Vel form with Murugan inside it.
Rudraksha is called the Tears of Shiva, and silver is associated with purity and auspiciousness in tradition. These are traditional associations and carry no promised result.
How to wear and care
Ideal for daily wear, it is traditionally worn as a daily devotional companion.
Oxidized silver is made to look dark in its recesses, so wipe only the raised areas with a dry cloth. Keep the mala dry and store it flat in a pouch.
