Meaning and tradition
A mukhi is a natural face on a Rudraksha bead. The 6 Mukhi is linked with Lord Kartikeya, also called Murugan, and Karungali is used in South Indian devotional jewellery.
These are traditional associations and carry no promised result.
How to wear and care
The 6-7mm beads sit close to the neck at around 18 inches. The 10-12mm beads carry more presence at the fuller 24-inch length. Pick by whether you want it seen over a kurta or tucked beneath a shirt.
Lift it over your head instead of tugging at the thread. Lay it flat when not worn, so the silver caps do not knock against one another.
