Divine Hindu Jal Shankha
The Jal Shankha is a natural white conch from the Indian Ocean, used to store and pour water during puja and abhishek. In Hindu tradition, the conch is Lord Vishnu's own emblem.

Meaning and tradition
Abhishek is the ritual pouring of water over a deity. In Hindu tradition, the conch is Lord Vishnu's own emblem, and water offered from a shankha is regarded as sacred.
Devotees use a Jal Shankha to complete the home temple in the traditional way and to mark an auspicious beginning. These associations promise no result.
How to use and care
Keep the Jal Shankha on a small stand to the right of the deity. Turn its mouth upward, and do not rest it directly on the floor of the mandir.
Empty it, rinse it and let it dry fully after each puja. Water left standing inside a natural conch is what causes staining and odour over time.
