Meaning and tradition
In Hindu tradition, the Dashavatara are the ten descents of Lord Vishnu, from Matsya to Kalki. The conch is Vishnu's own emblem, and its sound is traditionally used to announce worship.
A Dashavatara shankh gathers his whole story on a single conch. It is placed on the altar and gifted at a griha pravesh. These associations promise no result.
How to use and care
Place it on your altar, for example before Ekadashi, a day devotees dedicate to Lord Vishnu. It can sit with your Vishnu puja items, and it also makes a thoughtful gift for a griha pravesh.
Brass tarnishes naturally with time. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from damp. Dust the relief work with a dry brush.

Meaning, use and care
Choose the depicted deity or sacred symbol according to your own devotional practice. The piece can serve as a personal reminder to make time for prayer and reflection.
Check whether the particular shankh is described for blowing, offering water or display. Use it only for the purpose stated for this item; decorative and functional forms are not interchangeable.
Handle the shape carefully to protect its edges. Follow the listed care guidance for the actual material and finish, and allow a water-use item to dry before storage.
Review the dimensions, orientation and intended use before ordering. Do not assume that every item called a shankh is a natural shell or a blowing conch.

Are the products energised before shipping?
Yes. Our spiritual products are cleansed and energised following traditional Vedic rituals before they reach you, so they are ready to use on arrival.
Do you ship across India and internationally?

For damaged, defective or incorrect items, contact us promptly and review the eligibility, evidence and time limits in our refund policy. The applicable remedy depends on that policy.

You can shop by purpose (peace, protection, wealth, health) or by your rashi (zodiac). If you're unsure, our team can guide you via chat or the contact details on our site.
How do I care for and cleanse my mala or bracelet?
Follow the care details for the exact materials and finish on your product page. Keep beads away from perfume and harsh chemicals, and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Sunlight is not a universal care method; our Amethyst listings advise keeping the stone out of sustained or strong sunlight.
