Meaning and tradition
This blend joins two ingredients with a long place in Indian worship. Saffron is often called the King of Spices, and sandalwood the Wood of the Gods. Chandan and Kesar are both used for tilak in many Hindu traditions.
How to use and care
Light one stick at your personal altar at the start of daily pooja. Stand it in a holder on a heat-resistant surface, clear of cloth and paper, with room for the ash to fall.
