Meaning and tradition
Rudraksha is known in Hindu tradition as the Tears of Lord Shiva. Devotees use Rudraksha and Karungali malas for meditation and prayer. The Trishul stands for the balance of the three gunas. These are traditional associations, not promised results.
How to wear and care
Rudraksha beads set among wooden ones shift slightly as the thread settles. Every few weeks, run your fingers along the strand and ease the beads back into even spacing. Do not pull on a single bead. Keep the mala dry, and let it hang loose in a drawer overnight instead of staying knotted in a pocket or bag.
