Pooja Seva: Vedic Rituals Performed in Your Name

A pooja seva is a ritual performed on your behalf by pandits at a temple, with the sankalp taken in your name and gotra so the intention is formally attached to you. This page lists the sevas we arrange — each with a defined vidhi rather than a token ceremony — for people who cannot travel to a temple, who live abroad, or who want a particular remedy performed correctly and on the right day. You receive video proof of the ritual and prasad by post.

How to choose a seva

• Start from the intention — sevas differ by the deity and the purpose they are traditionally associated with, so read the vidhi before booking.
• Have your details ready — full name and gotra are needed for the sankalp, and some remedies also ask for a birth date.
• Check the timing — several sevas are performed on a specific tithi, so book with enough notice.
• Family bookings — the names of several family members can usually be included in one sankalp.
